Telenovela star Aaron Diaz has been confirmed to be joining Quantico for Season 2. The ABC drama series will be adding three new recurring roles, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Diaz will be joined by The Originals’ Tracy Ifeachor and Criminal Minds’ David Lim when the show returns.
Aaron Diaz will give life to a character called León Velez. THR reports thats Léon is a a thrill-seeking photojournalist with no home or life outside his backpack. Ifeachor will play Lydia Bates, a highly accomplished actuary with a few twists up her sleeve. Lim is set as Sebastian Chen, a focused and confident future agent.
This is not the first role Aaron Diaz has in the Anglo-market as he previously made an appearance on the short-lived Pan Am, also on the alphabet network. Diaz was last seen on the small screen on Telemundo’s Tierra De Reyes. In the aforementioned series ge played the role of Arturo Gallardo, the older brother of Flavio, Samuel, Alma and Verónica. After the death of his sister Alma, Arturo decides to take revenge on the family who he believes killed his sister. But during his revenge he will fall in love with Sofía del Junco.
Other acting credits for Aaron Diaz on the small screen include Los Miserables, Santa Diabla, Rosario, El Talismán, Teresa, Lola Erase Una Vez and Clase 406.
